Michael Malone (born May 17, 1984) in the midwest United States, is an American photographer that splits time between Miami and New York.

 

Inspired by natural female beauty, nature, and fashion he started developing his eye at the of age 16 in his high school darkroom.  There he began to study photography and film.

 

He went on to attend Indiana University where he continued his studies in photography and journalism.

 

Published in Vogue Mexico, Playboy US, Playboy Italia, GQ US, Maxim US, Maxim Italy, and Talk Magazine US, Malone continues to explore all the possibilities for his passions in photography and the arts.

 

In 2017, Malone opened a pop-up gallery for his first solo show titled “Life is Real” during Art Basel.  Launching his “A Taste of Honey” series featuring models covered in honey. Today it has taken on a life of its own, selling prints to clients around the globe. His work was featured on the top art blogs, ArtFido and Street Art Globe.

 

He also exhibited in 2016 during Art Basel Miami. Malone’s series titled “Wild Things” sold out the first night. It was shot on the beautiful beaches of Haiti, and promotes women’s empowerment. All the proceeds were donated to the Jack Brewer Foundation to build a cancer treatment center in Haiti. Malone is passionate about philanthropy, tying his work into charitable projects around the globe.

 

Malone loves to travel to find inspiration for future projects. Some of his favorite places are Amsterdam, Barcelona, Havana, Hong Kong, and Rio de Janiero.
